Baby's Room

I have been working on the baby's room. Had to give up my craft room/office for her, but it is worth it. My brother came over and painted it for me. So awesome! It is funny I never really liked green and now I have 2 rooms painted green. go figure!

I started off with a couple of different fabrics as my inspiration.
I wanted to make the quilt for this room. I think it came pretty good for my first quilt. LOVED the soft bumpy "minky" fabric.
So I lucked out on my crib skirt. I was hunting at Goodwill one day and found a green daybead dustruffle in the perfect shade of green for $2! So I cut it down and sewed it to fit the crib.
Was looking for a short dresser that I could put a changing pad on top. I coudn't find one in my budget (ie. cheap) So we had this cubby unit in the living room and needed to move it to put up the Christmas tree and I figured that it would be perfect to hold little baby clothes. So I don't have the changing table, but that is ok. I bought a couple of pink and green cubbies to go in it and they match pretty good.
more details to come...
