Christmas Cookies!!

I LOVE Christmas cookies! One day last week, I took the kids over to my Mom's house to make some. mmmm

We ALWAYS make Peanut Butter Blossoms, you know the ones with the hershey kiss in the middle. I honestly cannot think of a Christmas that we didn't make these.

ok so I stole the picture off of the Hershey website. Here is their recipe, but mine is so much easier and i think pretty yummy

Easy Peanut Blossoms(i usually double this)

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups Bisquick mix
3/4 c peanut butter

1 t vanilla

white sugar

hershey kisses- 25-35 per batch-

(depends on how many you eat and how big you make your cookies)
preheat to 375

beat cond milk and peanut butter until smooth. add baking mix and vanilla and mix.

shape in 1 inch balls. roll in sugar.

bake 6-7 minutes. while warm, push a kiss into the top.
How easy is that? fewer ingredients is better when you have kiddos helping too!

My husband's favorite is M&M cookies. Just take the good old toll house recipe off of the chocolate chip bag or here. and instead of choco chips, or right along with it. add some red and green M&MS! yummy!

kids love to decorate cookies. They did some gingerbread cookies at mom's and decorated those.

Found this recipe and tutorial here for an icing for the cookies today. might have to try it.
