So I have not blogged in awhile. Having a baby, (who decided to hang around inside me for a bit) around the holidays can do that to you.
Anyway I still would blog hop and am always finding such cute things to make. You should see my favorites folder, it is divided into folders, ie. crafts, which is then divided into subfolders, ie, sewing, scrapbooking etc. and they are filled with things that I would like to someday do.
Lately, the craft of my choice has been sewing. I always find stuff to make but I don't have this or that to make it.
Today I found a project that I think I have everything to make it.
So I am challenging you to make something as well, but you cannot go and buy any supplies. ok you can go and buy elastic, but no fabric, no onesies, no embellishments.
I found this blog today, called Barefoot in the Kitchen. Love it!

I also found this one here at a new favorite blog I found, Ruffles and Stuff.(she also has a tutorial on these super cute knee high socks that I am going to try too.)
So I am going to go and make a dress, not really knowing what I am doing, only using what I have on hand and going by these posts. Wish me luck!

I so take on your challenge. But it will have to be the end of next week, cause I'm leaving tomorrow before the crack of dawn. So by next Saturday I will have something done and perhaps posted! Good Luck, that dress is really cute!
ok I so need to add this to my list of things to do! I love how she showed it step by step...I'm gonna try! :) although i will tell you up front that I WILL be going to the store to buy the stuff. :) sorry! :)
So I know it's very simple, but I really wanted to make a pillow case dress. Made it last night. I found some old ANTIQUE pillow cases my MIL gave me. We're talking they belonged to her grandma's grandma. Came out cute cute cute and I want to post it and link it to this post you made.
The ONLY problem with the antique pillow case dress? It's stained with head grease. I don't know if it's more gross than creepy, having a little girl dressed stained with dead people head grease?
